Celebrating Milestones & Success!

We are thrilled to congratulate two of our program participants on reaching their 6-month benchmark—an important step in rebuilding stability, purpose, and independence.

Damian Henderson
Damian has successfully reached his 6-month mark and is currently employed at Taylor Farms. He continues to demonstrate commitment and growth on his journey forward. We are incredibly proud of his progress!

Jesus Najarro
Jesus also reached his 6-month milestone and has shown exceptional dedication. He proudly graduated from the RBCA program at Dallas College in August. Jesus is now working with Skinner Lawn Care Services, exemplifying determination and a strong work ethic.

September 2025

Walter Mitchell’s story is one of transformation, responsibility, and renewed freedom, marked by his one-year milestone in the ROD Aftercare program on August 2, 2025. Since his release, he secured a driver’s license for the first time in decades, saved faithfully, and purchased his own vehicle, granting him independence to travel to work, church, and appointments. With God’s help and the encouragement of ROD staff, what once seemed impossible became reality. Ironically, working at a car auction, Walter now owns his own car, a humbling symbol of restoration and progress. His story is a testimony of how ROD Aftercare equips men with Christ-centered guidance, tools for life, and hope for a thriving future.
